The building was founded on 10 May 1859 during the last year of Bourbon domination. Turned into a four stars hotel, it has kept today the old architectural structure of the past. Entering the old main gate, you quickly get to the hall where time seems to have stopped 150 years ago. In just a few steps you see the breathtaking scenery of the old court that is illuminated by a wonderful skylight and enriched with some heavenly ample - sized rooms, once meant for the nuns of the convent.Grand Hotel Capodimonte, thanks to its original architecture inherited by “delle morette” convent, offers different types of rooms to satisfy even the most demanding customer, either the business man searching a relaxing atmosphere or the couple wishing to immerse themselves into a romantic surrounding. The 35  rooms are furnished with refinement in Bourbon style and are set on the four floors of the hotel.
