In 1781, esteemed Lund university celebrated 115 years, but Lund was still a small town with barely 3,000 inhabitants. Ostra Martensgatan had long been the main street from Osterport to the city centre. It was here that tradesman A Gadde had a house built, a house that today is one of the oldest of its kind. In 1818, goldsmith Niklas Ramberg had another house built next to Gadde's house. 203 years later, in 2015, these two historic buildings were restored and a third house was built – and so Hotell Nordic Lund was born.
