Leisure Inn Penny Royal is a boutique, heritage property withà  modern facilities located just 5 minutes walk to Launceston CBD, famous Cataract Gorge and the Old Launceston Seaport Restaurants. Originally built as a corn mill in 1840, the property was moved 54 kilometres to Launceston and was rebuilt as a hotel over 130 years later - stone by stone. Penny Royal offers motel rooms as well as apartments, all with a unique heritage atmosphere. Hotel facilities include an on-site Restaurant, a lolly factory and gift shop, guest laundry, off-street parking, and non-smoking rooms. All rooms are located over three levels via stair access only, the hotel does not have lifts. All two bedroom apartments are split level in layout with the bedrooms upstairs and bathroom and living areas downstairs.
