When you are in Viana do Castelo, you must remember to visit our campsite, from which you can access the beach through a gate (that is only closed at night). The campsite has a fair amount of shade, and offers bungalows, commercial services and a swimming-pool free for users. The beach is excellent and is often used by windsurfers. Visit Monte de Santa Luzia and enjoy a magnificent view over the town and river Lima. Don't forget to sample the area's culinary wealth and its traditional dance by visiting, for example, an Arraial Minhoto, the typical festive dinner of the Minho region.
