A ski lodge in the winter and a bed and breakfast in the summer, Te Wanaka is owned and operated by young outdoor enthusiasts. This contemporary European-style ski lodge was architecturally designed and built using innovative design concepts and local building materials. The beautiful rhododendron bushes, azaleas and other mature trees around the lodge are the legacy of a much-admired garden that once existed on the site. Te Wanaka is located in the heart of the Wanaka village within walking distance of the lake, restaurants, shops and golf course. There is a House Bar & Cellar, off street parking and a ski/gear drying room and equipment storage.
