'Rock Bath', a large communal bath, is made of the Japan's Northern Alps-mined serpentine. 'Wood Bath' is made of cypress. Open-air baths are also available. The hot spring spa facilities of Kurobe Kanko Hotel are the largest in the Omachi Onsen (hot spring) resort.
