This fully renovated Venetian building is located on the western side of Chania's Old Town, just a few metres from the old harbour. It blends perfectly into an attractive neighbourhood of similar restored and decorated Venetian buildings, set along rustic cobbled lanes. It is just some 800 m to the nearest beach. This fully renovated Venetian building is tall, imposing and 600 years old. At the start of the 19th Century, the building was used as a French embassy and it was later inhabited by the great Greek politico, Eleftherios Venizelos. The hotel has a total of 10 beautiful rooms, 2 of which are maisonettes, fully restored and traditionally decorated to provide guests with a truly warm welcome.
