Molde is mostly known for the panoramic views of hundreds of snow-capped mountains, where several of the peaks are more than 1,000 metres high. The hotel is an architectonic masterpiece, partly built into the Romsdalsfjord, with beautiful views over the Romsdalsaplene mountains.
