Cauterets (altitude 1000 m) is a traditional village and thermal spa located in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park. Facing the Vignemale, the highest mountain in the area, the resort has been described as the Chamonix of the Pyrénées. Le Cirque du Lys (1730m-2450m), a short cable car ride from Cauterets, is a great place for downhill skiers. The residence is composed of three 6-storey buildings (with lift) in the traditional Pyrenean style. The studios and apartment are fully equiped with kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher, electric hob (2 rings), bathroom, furnished terrace or balcony. By road: take the A64 Motorway, exit at Lourdes. From Lourdes, follow signs for Argeles-Gazost. In Pierrefi tte-Nestalas, turn right following signs for Cauterets (8km). Once in Cauterets, go towards the base of the Lys cable car (Téléphérique du Lys). The residence is located a further 500 m away.
