Two hours drive away from the Krabi airport, the beach resort is nestled in a preserved site of tropical trees. Lunch & dinner menus available a la carte. Lanta Yai is accessible by car, by way of car ferries crossing over from mainland at Baan Hua Hin pier to Lanta Noi and Lanta Yai islands. Many options are available for self-arranged transport, from car rental to public van transport. Car rental offices are found at Krabi and Phuket airports; however, it is not possible to return the rented car on Lanta Island. Public van transfers are in Krabi town and run at regular intervals throughout the day. Drop off points are in Saladan town which is a 15 min drive by taxi.
