In 2005, in the heart of the Douro Valley, between terraces full of vines and fruit trees, the top award-winning wine tourism project in Portugal was born, with a total area of 120 hectares, it is now a reference to all who wish to be engulfed by the true spirit of the region. The Quinta Nova Winery House invites all guests to enjoy a truly immersive experience in the Douro Wine Region. Once an emblematic building from the 18th century, this winery house was reconverted through the renovation of the manor house of the estate. It boasts 11 comfortable suites, where guests are welcome on a daily basis, and a memorable stay is guaranteed. The several social areas invite you to escape your daily routine. From the rustic living rooms, to our lounge-like porches with a view of the Douro River, from the inviting pool overlooking the vineyards, to the Chapel of Our Lady of Carmo, which all make up a picturesque backdrop, you are free to explore many contrasting spaces in a welcoming environment, where you can feel the tranquility of your surroundings. From May to September, the terrace is the most sought-after spot to enjoy the estate's Conceitus Winery Restaurant, either partaking in Degustation Menus or simply tasting some of the delicacies our Chef prepares daily, always harmonized with our own Wines.
