Welcome to the Hunter Valley Resort & Adventure Centre. We are not part of a large international chain, we are independent. It is a family business of 30 years, with two generations still living at, and working in the business every day. Getting to the Wine Country is easy: An easy two-hour drive north from Sydney, or one-hour from Port Stephens dolphins and Newcastle Airport (NTL) with direct services to Gold Coast, Brisbane and Melbourne. The resort has its own brewhouse, restaurant, winery, wine & cooking schools, candy-making classes, Hunter Wine Theatre, massage centre, plus a range of excellent four-star rooms and cottages. It is surrounded by beautiful 50-year-old shiraz vineyards with all guest rooms completely refurbished in 2019. The Adventure Centre activities include horse-riding adventures; Segway back country tour; and electric bike hire. Surrounding the resort in the stunning Hunter Valley, are 150 wineries and cellar doors; 35 restaurants; four golf courses (Par 72/18 holes); Hunter Valley Gardens; hot air balloon rides; cheese and chocolate factories; a shopping village; and many other tourist attractions.
