We are in the Primiero Valley, an area with a thousand-year hospitality traditions. In fact, the building of the monastery of saints Martino and Giuliano dates back to the 1000 year, offering hospitality to travelers on their way to Rome and the Holy Land. During the second half of the 19th century, thanks to the arrival of English and Germans, the first pioneers of mountaineering, the first alpine hotel in all of Trentino was born in San Martino di Castrozza. With a continuous growth we arrive at the current tourism development of the Valley and in particular of San Martino di Castrozza, a Dolomite town known for its beautiful views and for the fantastic "Pale" that, with their 3000 meters of height, dominate the town and they get colored by the moods of the wheather. In this magnificent setting we find the Hotel Fratazza, about 100 meters from the Tognola ski lift and about 600 meters from the down town. At the Hotel Fratazza the guest is welcomed in a comfortable and cosy surrounding, an atmosphere from bygone days.
