This charming hotel enjoys a waterfront location overlooking the Bosphorus in the town of Sariyer approximately 15 km from Taksim Square in central Istanbul. Thought to have dated from the late 18th century, this historic waterfront hotel was once the home of a Grand Vizier and began its life as a guesthouse in the 1930s. The style is a combination of modern, Ottoman and Baroque architecture. An inner courtyard is now home to the hotel's cafe while the bar once used to be the stables.
