A notable example of 18th century style architecture from the reign of Dom João V, this magnificent country house was designed by the famous Italian architect Nicolau Nasoni. From the stately Baroque-style windows there are marvellous views of the lavish green Minho countryside. Visitors to the bed and breakfast are greeted by a lofty gateway, inviting guests into the spacious courtyard and pool area, which is surrounded by lush greenery and landscaped gardens. The house features a traditional design throughout with dark wood furnishings, and some rooms have stone walls. Guests can wake up to a buffet-breakfast in the breakfast room and will find several restaurants within a ten-minute drive.
