Hotel Laugar is a summer hotel used as a boarding school over the winter time with 57 rooms, which all feature a private bathroom. Laugar is the gateway to some of the countrys most spectacular natural attractions, such as Lake Mývatn, Ásbyrgi Canyon and the waterfalls Góðafoss and Dettifoss. Before dinner you can still jump in the public pool, which is located just beside the hotel.
